Raz can't actually incinerate something with his mind or move inanimate objects. Nor can he levitate. The term "clairvoyance" in this instance means that he doesn't really see things with his mind, its more of a gut feeling, or intuition. Thankfully, his intuition is accurate; he can guess near anything correctly, from the number of jellybeans in a jar to sports outcomes. The rule is, Raz can't read anyone's mind, he can only predict.
